Michael Turner has been a principal with Appraisal Technology, Inc., a real estate appraisal and consulting firm, since 1990. Mike has lived in Scottsdale for more than 25 years. After graduating from Saguaro High School in 1980, Mike continued his education at the University of Arizona where he graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. In addition to serving on The Charro Foundation Board, Mike is also a current Board Member of the Arizona Country Club.
Craig Curtis is CEO of Calex Homes, Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ. Craig was born and raised in Ohio, where he studied architecture at Kent State University, graduating in 1983. Craig resides in Scottsdale with his wife, Rebecca, and two daughters, Catherine and Alexandra. Craig is an active member of our community. He has coached girls softball teams, been a member of the Scottsdale Charros since 2002, is a Board member of the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, was Vice President of The Scottsdale Charros in 2007 and is the current President of The Scottsdale Charros.
John Stull is an investment manager at AUTUS Asset Management and creator of The Personal Investment Pilot TM. John has been a resident of the Valley since 1988 after moving from Nebraska, where he was born and raised. John graduated from the University of Nebraska and went on to earn two Master's degrees from Arizona State University. John is a Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Account, and he and his wife Tracy are busy raising two teenage children. John is proud to give back to the community with his work with Scottsdale Charros and has been involved with the Boards of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale for many years.
John Schultz is the owner and President of Schultz Development Corp., a general contracting company that specializes in building luxury custom homes. John grew up in Paradise Valley, graduating from Shadow Mountain High School and Arizona State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He and his wife have lived in Paradise Valley for 17 years. John has been an active member of the Scottsdale Charros for 6 years and has participated with the group for more than 14 years.
Dr. Wayne Botkin, Jr., is a General Dentist in Scottsdale who grew up in the Valley, attending Washington High School in Phoenix. He received his undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University and his doctorate from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago. Wayne is married and has two daughters. He is actively involved with several local charitable organizations including the Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation.
Kurt M. Brueckner was born in Peoria, IL and presently resides in Scottsdale with his wife Sue and their children, Ryan, Lauren and Austin. Kurt is a founding partner of the law offices of Titus Brueckner Levine & Johnson PC, located in Phoenix.

Ferguson Jenkins is a professional baseball hall-of-famer, and the Founder and Chairman of The Fergie Jenkins Foundation. Fergie was born in Chatham, Ontario and presently resides in Anthem, Arizona.
Fergie's 18-year professional career began with the Phillies in 1965. From 1966 - 1973 while with Chicago Cubs baseball club he accomplished a record achievement of six straight 20 win seasons, winning the 1971 Cy Young Award. In 1974, after being traded to the Texas Rangers, Fergie won the American League Comeback Player of the Year Award after winning 25 games. Fergie retired after the 1983 season, coming back to Chicago and retiring as a Cub.
Career Highlights also include; being the first and only Canadian to be inducted into Baseball's National Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, N.Y.; induction into the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame at St. Marys, Ont.; Lou Marsh Award recipient as Canada's top athlete; Canadian Athlete of the Year 1967,1968,1971 and 1974; induction onto Canada's Walk of Fame; recipient of the Order of Canada in 2007. In a ceremony at Wrigley Field in Chicago, Fergie's number 31 was raised up and retired. In March of 2010 the Scottsdale Charros named Fergie an Honorary Charro.
Ed Reading is a Valley resident who graduated from the University of Arizona. Ed is the Vice President of Finance for Vestar Development Co. and is responsible for all accounting and property operations. Ed is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and serves on the Cal Ripken Senior Foundation Board.
Dr. Mark Stieg is a Scottsdale area orthodontist and resident, who attended Pima Elementary School and Scottsdale High School. He then attended Arizona State University followed by the Ohio State University College of Dentistry and the University of Iowa for his orthodontic training. Mark is actively involved in several local community and charitable organizations and is the President of the SUSD Foundation.
Suzanne Walden-Wells is Executive Director of the DC Ranch Community Council, a non-profit entity charged with creating and sustaining the unique lifestyle experience that defines DC Ranch. Prior to her current role, Suzanne worked for the Scottsdale Area Chamber of Commerce for eight years, during which she filled a number of roles including Interim President/CEO and Executive Vice President/COO. Suzanne is involved in a number of organizations, including Scottsdale Leadership where she currently serves as a member of the Board and Core Program Chair for Class XXV. A native Georgian, Suzanne graduated from Georgia Southern University in 1983 with a BS in Marketing and Fashion Merchandising. She and her husband Clay moved to Arizona thirteen years ago and live in the historic district of downtown Phoenix with their dog and two cats.
Peter Rusin is the President of Health World of Scottsdale, an organization committed to improving the standards of health and safety education in the community. Peter has a long career in health care administration and received a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois in 1976. Peter was a lifelong resident of the Chicago area prior to relocating to Scottsdale in 1999. Peter is an active member of our communities. He is a Board member for the Community Celebrating Diversity and the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, and is involved with a variety of community organizations, including The MLK Committee. Peter formerly served on the Board of National-Louis University.
